In this session, a therapist and a parent will share their insights and real-life experiences, showcasing strategies that make therapy effective and supportive in an ECEC environment, helping your child thrive.

This event is part of our four-session series brought to you by Kindred in partnership with the Early Childhood Intervention Best Practice Network (ECIBPN). The series is designed to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to build strong partnerships with your child’s daycare. childcare or preschool and advocate effectively to ensure their needs are met through their early education.
About the Speakers:
Professional
Willeke De Schepper is an experienced Early Childhood Educator and the Preschool Intervention Practice Lead at Koorana Preschools. She works closely with her team across two preschools to deliver therapy that supports children’s growth and development, following best practice guidelines and the Early Years Learning Framework.
Parent
Eliza is a parent of three neurodivergent boys, including her youngest, Solomon, who recently transitioned to primary school. During Solomon's final year of daycare, Eliza experienced how having therapists work directly within his daycare alongside educators made a real difference in fostering inclusion and supporting his development. She will share practical examples of the strategies and adjustments that were implemented, helping Solomon thrive socially, develop everyday skills and prepare for the transition to school.
