Take a tour of one of the best permaculture properties in WA - Jetto's Patch! Here is a little bit about their patch (and the Facebook group they run):
JETTO'S PATCH has been designed as a suburban food garden in Perth Western Australia. come and see the many food crops able to be grown and harvested in the Perth climate on a small suburban lot of less than half an acre and on a natural sustainable basis according to the rules of nature. The aim was to prove how much and how rare or exotic plants can be grown in a small space.The garden is a suburban lot of 1482sq metres (less than half an acre), and is designed to encourage everyone to grow their own food no mater what space is available to them. The Jetto's Patch page became a community Edible Gardening Group in 2009.
Jetto's Patch is in Maida Vale. Once we've confirmed numbers I'll email you the address and parking details so you can drive yourself (or organise car pooling) and meet there.
Please park at Davies Park on Warren Road, just a hundred metres up from Jetto's Patch.
