Estampa - Joyous, evocative folk quartet

Estampa is a World/Folk quartet based in Brisbane, Australia. Evoking visions of Parisian laneways, South American sensuality, and unbridled joyous European folk-music, this group of talented musicians mesmerise audiences with powerful and inspired performances. 

The ensemble includes a unique blend of violin, viola, vocals, nyckelharpa, button accordion, guitar, banjo and double-bass.

These skilled and highly regarded musicians come from diverse musical backgrounds and together perform an eclectic mix of Gypsy Jazz, European folk, Brazilian vocal and instrumental music. Expect a rich experience that will transport you to a 1930’s Parisian jazz club or the streets of São Paulo.

Estampa are 2024 Musica Viva featured artists, and has performed at Woodford Folk Festival, the Mosaic festival, Le Festival and the Brisbane International Jazz Festival. They released their first self-titled album in 2017, and their second album ‘Without Borders’ at the end of May, 2021.

Are you part of a group?

Is this an outdoor venue?

Yes, Little Tree is an outdoor, mainly covered venue - rug up on cool nights! The stage is in a rainforest setting with some sightline restrictions. We suggest you arrive early to secure a good viewing position.

How does seating work?

Most seats are cabaret style at tables seating three to eight people. A Reserve tickets have a full view of the stage.

Is this a family friendly event?

Yes, families are welcome, tickets for children under 14 are $10 ea. Babies in arms are free.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds will only be available when an event has been cancelled or rescheduled, in line with the Australian ticketing code of practice.

Who is entitle to a concession ticket?

Full-time students, attendees under 18 years, Government concession card holders (age pension, disability pension, Newstart, supporting parent and seniors healthcare card holders).
