Event description

Exploring barrel maturation, how the different barrels used in aging whisk(e)y impact the flavours and aromas that we all know and enjoy from this most marvellous spirit.  You'll be trying a variety of ex bourbon barrel, ex sherry, ex port and other barrel aged whiskies, from the same distilleries, to compare how these barrels impact the flavour of your favourite spirit.

Every class kicks off at 6:30pm. During the course of the lesson, we will discuss, sample, and learn about whisk(e)y. Using 5-6 tasty samples at every lesson, and a few different nibbles. The classes are run by resident spirit expert, Nathan, and team.  The 101 class will take approximately 90minutes, but you are more than welcome to hang around afterwards, and explore a little bit further at the bar.
