"Unleashing Inner Calm" is an immersive and transformative class designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge to craft captivating and effective hypnosis scripts and meditation sessions. The course delves into the art of creative writing, exploring how to use language and imagery to induce relaxation, focus, and self-awareness in listeners.

This is a 8 week course meeting once every 2 weeks.   In Person or Via Zoom  $40.00 per week

Throughout "Unleashing Inner Calm," participants will engage in writing exercises, group discussions, and practical applications to hone their creative writing skills. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the tools to write compelling hypnosis scripts and meditation classes that foster inner calm, mindfulness, and personal growth in their listeners.

Week 1: Introduction to Hypnosis and Meditation - December 3 - Recording Available

  • Understanding the principles of hypnosis and meditation.
  • Exploring the benefits of these practices for mental well-being.
  • Examining the role of creative writing in guiding individuals into a receptive state of mind.
  • Creating practices that will help you to open your flow and create scripts that will bring your clients to relaxation and beyond.

Week 2: Writing for Hypnosis Scripts

  • Learning the fundamentals of writing effective hypnosis scripts.
  • Crafting relaxation inductions that ease listeners into a trance-like state.
  • Utilizing vivid imagery to create mental landscapes that promote relaxation and focus.

Week 3: Positive Suggestions and Empowerment

  • Incorporating positive affirmations and suggestions to address specific issues and goals.
  • Fostering self-belief and empowerment through language and tone.
  • Understanding the ethical considerations of hypnosis scriptwriting.

Week 4: Deepening the Trance State

  • Exploring techniques to deepen the listener's state of receptivity.
  • Employing countdowns, metaphorical journeys, and other methods to enhance the hypnotic experience.
  • Balancing depth with safety and ensuring a comfortable experience for the listener.

Week 5: Writing for Meditation Classes

  • Adapting creative writing for group meditation classes.
  • Crafting inclusive and welcoming meditation scripts suitable for various experience levels.
  • Integrating breathwork, body scans, and mindfulness into meditation sessions.

Week 6: Guided Imagery and Visualization

  • Understanding the power of guided imagery in inducing relaxation and positive emotions.
  • Developing scenes and scenarios that promote inner calm and tranquility.
  • Balancing creativity with grounded and relatable imagery.

Week 7: Mindful Awareness and Gratitude

  • Guiding participants to observe thoughts and emotions without judgment.
  • Cultivating a sense of gratitude and appreciation in meditation scripts.
  • Exploring the use of affirmations to enhance well-being.

Week 8: Ethical Considerations and Final Projects

  • Addressing ethical responsibilities in writing for hypnosis and meditation.
  • Reviewing and refining scripts with sensitivity and respect.
  • Presenting final creative writing projects for peer feedback.
