From Childhood to Teens: Interactive Workshop
Event description
As your child grows, their needs change.
This workshop helps you navigate the shift that often begins around age 8 and continues into the teen years. You’ll learn practical ways to support your child’s growing independence, build their confidence to express themselves, and help you feel more prepared for what’s ahead.
In this workshop, we will cover
Understanding the emotional, physical and social changes that may come with adolescence
Supporting your child’s voice and self-advocacy
Starting to involve your child in setting goals and shaping decisions
Finding the balance between growing independence and continued support.
PLEASE NOTE: This event was previously called Transition to Teens. If you have already done that workshop, the content for this session will be exactly the same. Please do not register unless you'd like to refresh your knowledge.
