Join me, Jody Graham, for a one-day drawing workshop where I’ll share techniques and ideas to help you explore expressive and innovative approaches to contemporary drawing. Held in the vibrant heart of Newtown, this workshop is a fantastic opportunity to learn how to draw and tap into your creativity in an inspiring environment.

We’ll explore a range of drawing methods, from quick, gestural sketches to more in-depth projects that encourage experimentation and growth. I’ll guide you as you work with different materials, refine your mark-making, and develop fresh approaches to composition, all in a relaxed, fun, and supportive setting.

Start 2025 with a creative boost! This workshop will help you move forward with new ideas and perspectives for your work, or take the first step into drawing if you’re just starting out. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, this is a great opportunity to try something new and nurture your creative well-being. I look forward to seeing you there!

Morning tea will be provided, with gluten-free options available. There are also plenty of great takeaway options for lunch, or you’re welcome to bring your own. Newtown Neighbourhood Centre is accessible and includes a kitchen, lunch area, and courtyard for us to enjoy.

The venue is conveniently located near St Peters Railway Station. I recommend using public transport if possible—maybe even draw on the way!

If you prefer to drive, I can suggest nearby parking options, with a short walk to the venue after dropping off your materials.
