Family Consultation: Best Practice in Early Childhood Intervention
Event description
Belongside Families is running consultation sessions for families of young children with developmental delay or disability who have participated in early childhood intervention. This may include having worked with therapists, such as speech therapists or occupational therapists to help promote your childโs development.
We are very keen to learn from parents and carers of young children aged 0 to 12 years old.
This consultation is part of the review of best practice in early childhood intervention being undertaken by a consortium led by the University of Melbourne and funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services.
The review is producing a new best practice framework, resources, and tools. These will help practitioners, professionals and families ensure children with developmental concerns, delay or disability have the best possible start in life.
