Provide First Aid - Accredited Training for CHSP Volunteers
The Provide First Aid course is designed to give you the skills and knowledge required to administer first aid in an emergency situation. The unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
What you’ll learn:
How to respond to an emergency situation
How to perform CPR procedures
Applying appropriate first aid procedures
Communicating details of the incident
Reviewing the incident
Qualifications Issued:
HLTAID009 Provide CPR (valid for 12 months)
HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support (valid for 3 years)
HLTAID011 Provide first aid (valid for 3 years)
A statement of attainment will be issued upon successful completion of the following:
1-2 hour online workbooks - completed prior to training
6 hour face to face training & practical assessment

Time: 9:30am to 3:30pm
Location: Wollondilly Performing Arts Centre, Picton
Cost: FREE for CHSP Volunteers
