To know Wackie Ju, is to love Jackie Wu. Making Head Lines at her debut AFW show last year, Wackie Ju is re turning again for her 2024 Saviour 002 Collection.

What many were unaware of last year, is that Jackie went to great lengths to produce one of the seasons most esteemed collections. With little to no funding, meanwhile being inundated and overburdened with infinite work, Jackie was left to her own devices in trying to financially support herself.

The Wackie Ju World represents everything we wish for in the fashion world, the intersection of art, inclusion, community and a socio-political voice. She rejects the capitalist, over-consuming, superficial nature of the fashion Industry. With this in mind, she has paved a new fashion precedent and landscape in this country. She stands for something whilst celebrating and supporting her community along the way.

Now we want to show her that we stand for her. Jackie has expressed to her close friends how helpless she feels having to dream up and work on her career, without any financial support or sponsors.

So in honour of our love for her, we are throwing a party at Miscellania on the 23rd of March where we call on and celebrate the strength in community, all while helping Jackie raise funds to put on an unforgettable show, on the biggest fashion platform in this country. 

Furthermore, in light of the ongoing genocide in Palestine, upon entry there will be the opportunity to enter a raffle to win a Wackie Ju pendant, with all proceeds being donated to Palestine. We are not free, until we are all free.
