FPO Refresher Course South 2024

FPO Refresher Courses are for FPOs and FPO trainees to come together, meet with FPA staff and exchange information. Each FPA team presents the latest news and updates relevant for FPOs from the previous 2 years. The FPO Reference Group will also hold a session where all FPOs can raise topics for discussion.

The FPO Refresher Course is compulsory if you seek to retain your warrant authorising you to be an FPO under s. 39 of the Forest Practices Act 1985. We strongly encourage attending this refresher in person. If you are unable to make any of these dates, you will be required to complete the catch-up process, which involves listening to a recording while viewing the slides from the day, then answering a quiz on the content. If you are absolutely unable to attend or you no longer wish to retain your FPO appointment, please contact us.

The course will include complimentary morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

Please ensure you are registering for the refresher course (location and date) you intend. We are encouraging all FPOs to attend the northern course because the Forest Practices Awards 2024 will take place immediately after the Devonport FPO Refresher Course. We are hoping that many of you will stay on and celebrate the achievements of your colleagues at the awards.
