Event description

Fundamentals of Research Impact: Engagement and communication strategies is the third of five bite-sized blended-learning hybrid sessions supported by the RESHub ‘Fundamental of Research Impact’ online module (https://canvas.uts.edu.au/enroll/GHRMEK).

These blended-learning sessions will delve into the crucial facets of understanding, planning, executing, and demonstrating research impact. Through real world case studies, inspiring stories and video interviews you’ll learn what research impact is, its importance for your research career and how it can be embedded into every step of the research journey.

In this third session we are going to cover:

  • Engagement across a research cycle
  • Choosing communication channels to support engagement
  • Supporting and developing professional relationships through engagement activities

The workshop will be presented by Catherine McElhone, Research Impact Facilitator, from the UTS Research Office, John Rees, Director of Research Development and Training and Amy Cotton, Manager of Development Programs from the UTS Graduate Research School.

Further information about the session to be provided.
