Future of Work - Lifelong Learning Lab
Event description
How can we make sure we are always future-fit by learning all the time - whilst moving towards fulfilling your purpose, passion and potential? How about turning our projects (and life itself) into lifelong learning labs?
3-part Lab (session -> activity -> session) = 3 x 90 minutes per day starting:
NZ: July 27 at 9 am
Americas: July 26 - PDT at 2 pm - EDT at 5 pm - Brazil at 6 pm
Rapid changes in technology and ways of working require new skills, new adaptability and re-envisioning what learning looks like to ensure we are future-fit. If it looks like we aren't learning fast enough to keep up with the capabilities needed, is it possible to turn our work and its everyday challenges into opportunities to learn all the time? How can we not only learn to work but continuously learn from work?
Part of a series of TechWeek labs to future-proof your career, this lab will help you start your lifelong learning journey by trying out a number of practices to own your individual learning yet supported by a network of peers.
This is a practical lab that will help you:
- gain new perspectives on how to work, learn and grow
- explore patterns from the future of work like radical collaboration, distributed leadership and mastery
- experiment with real practices that can be implemented tomorrow.
You will walk away empowered to begin, with concrete steps towards your lifelong learning plan.
This lab previously ran at WINTalk Project Connect, Techweek 2019 and diverse NZ and Brazilian companies, so this year we experiment bringing pioneers from NZ and Brazil together.
This will be facilitated by the co-authors of 'Better Work Together' Sandra Otto and Sandra Chemin - workplace innovation catalysts of the Future of Work Collective, a team within Enspiral.
