UP! Clubbers we are so excited to attend the Lion King Musical this July!
We welcome you to join us for a day out, meeting up for lunch at It's Time for Thai, followed by the famous show, with all the magical hits, Can you feel the love tonight? Circle of life, I just can't wait to be king. We can't wait!

Where: Capitol Theatre, 13 Campbell Street, Haymarket NSW 2000 and It's Time for Thai, Haymarket, 767–769 George St, Haymarket NSW 2000.

Our Growing, Connected Project has been extended for another year. As part of this funding, the upcoming UP! Club event The Lion King Musical will now be covered by this grant.
The grant will cover:
The cost of the ticket
Support costs for UP! Club members attending (at a 1:3 ratio)
The grant will not cover:
Lunch and drinks at It’s Time for Thai, Haymarket
Food and beverages purchased for the performance
Any merchandise members may choose to purchase
Additional support costs

Walk to Central Grand Concourse (350m - 5mins) |
5pm – 5:15pm | Pick up at Central Grand Concourse (between platforms 1-3)

What to Bring:
UP! Club Passport (if you have one)
Companion Card - Important (please bring if you have one)
Opal Card that is topped up to travel on trains and light rail
Photo identification
Sun protection and/or rain protection - depending on weather
Wear comfortable walking shoes.
Please bring money (approximately $50) for food and merchandise (if you would like to buy)
Required Forms
A signed 2026-2027 Service Agreement and Schedule of Supports is required to participate.
Please contact us immediately if you have questions or you have not filled out these forms and wish to book in for this activity.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We know plans change but we are so excited to see you! Bookings cancelled 7 days or less before the event date will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Please provide all cancellations in writing to admin@downsyndromensw.org.au
If you become unwell, please stay home and do not attend this event.
