Event description
Learn how to manage your pasture for both productivity and ecosystem health through good grazing management principles and an understanding of your local soils and land types.
Topics include:
- Pasture identification and indicator species.
- Improving pasture quality and quantity.
- Grazing management strategies; including pasture rest and recovery.
- Property planning and sustainable land management principles.
There will be a paddock walk as part of the day, you will need suitable footwear, sun protection and a water bottle.
Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
