Learn how to better understand key drivers of your soil health and interpret soil test results. This workshop provides an opportunity for local farmers to benefit from specialist advice on how to better match nutrient inputs to crop and soil requirements.
Main presenter, David Hall, is a locally based agricultural consultant with extensive experience in plant nutrition and soil fertility working with farmers across cropping, horticulture, fodder, and pasture production enterprises.
Topics include:
How to interpret soil tests – what do the numbers mean?
Learn about characteristics of healthy soils.
Implications for management to keep soils healthy and maintain nutrition requirements for improved crop and pasture production.
Who should attend? Farmers who are interested in improving and maintaining soil health for sustainable and profitable crop production.
