HER 他 11 Hour Hard Dance Day Rave @ Miscellania. 03.04.2022

HER 他 is celebrating its second event of 2022, returning to MISCELLANIA on Sunday April 3rd from 2 PM- 1 AM for an autumn edition of its Hard Dance Day Rave Series.

Mixing it up a little bit, HER 他 looks to kick things off a little later in the day than usual,  running from 2 PM and going until 1 AM with 7 DJs and a special International performance video piece to make the most of the MISCELLANIA big screen.

After a very intimate and fast paced edition in February this year, HER 他 looks to continue its momentum in 2022 with its Autumn Day Rave event, bringing you more of what you’ve come to know and love from HER  他 as well as some special surprises to keep you intrigued.

This event includes  DJ sets/ performances from 非Fēi, Betty Apple (International Video Performance Piece), Brixx, Cloudy Ku, DJ Tiny puppy, Maggie Tra, Pancakedog and Stev Zar.

We invite you all to join us as we celebrate the Naarm electronic music community, with this line-up of local powerhouses all coming together to give you a daytime rave experience to boost your serotonin the best way possible. Come Dance with us!

To recap on the ethos of HER他 - 

“As suggested by the name (他, or ‘Ta’ mandarin representation of a genderless identity) HER 他 sets out to promote gender and music equality across the music and arts scenes, with a female first and sexual minority focus, while establishing a collaborative connection between the art and music scenes of Taipei and Naarm/ Melbourne.’

During the Isolation and lockdown months between 2020 and 2021, HER Launched the ‘HER他 Transmission Mix Series’ A weekly mixtape series to showcase, highlight and promote minority artists within the community during a time of heavy inactivity and uncertainty.  

HER他 is a Naarm based label and event series by Taiwanese-born Cloudy Ku, launched in 2020 with parties in both Taipei and Naarm/Melbourne, before facing the challenge of the COVID-19 related lockdowns restrictions.
