Join Melissa Hoedel, creator of Heritage Hands, and Michael, wig maker at Queensland Ballet, for a relaxed, small-group talk and walkthrough of the exhibition.
Beginning outside the Thomas Dixon Centre, Melissa will introduce the project and share insights into its development, before guiding the group through the exhibition.
Michael will speak to his work as a theatrical wig maker, offering a firsthand perspective on the skill, precision and experience behind his craft.
These informal sessions provide a unique opportunity to hear directly from both the artist and one of the featured artisans, and to explore the stories, processes and traditions represented in Heritage Hands.
