Introducing the Heroes & Villains Trail Run – You Yangs

Step aside, Halloween Howler… a new legend is here! 🦸‍♀️🦹‍♂️

This year we’re unleashing the Heroes & Villains Trail Run in the rugged beauty of the You Yangs Western Plantation. It’s your chance to bring your wildest alter-ego to life, whether you’re a caped crusader, a mischievous rogue, or something in between.

The trails are your stage, the adventure is real, and the costumes are half the fun. Run fast, sneak through the shadows, fly along the single trails, or battle your way to the finish, however you take on the course, you’ll be part of an unforgettable showdown of good versus evil.

So gather your powers (or your tricks), suit up, and get ready to live out your fantasies on the trails. Heroes will rise, villains will scheme, but only you decide who crosses the finish line first.

( Late Entries) - If you attempt to enter late and cannot due to sold out status, you can call 0418557052 to check if there are any cancellations and spots available

Choose from 50km, 42.2km, 21.1km, 10km, 5km, 2km events. Plus a 6hr enduro and create your own distance.

Time Schedule

3pm - 50km Start, please arrive for checkin between 2pm - 2:45pm

4pm - 42.2km Start, please arrive for checkin between 3pm - 3:45pm

5pm - 5km Start, 6hr start, please arrive for checkin between 4pm - 4:45pm

5:15 - 2km Start, please arrive for checkin between 4:45pm - 5:15pm

5:30- 5km CaniCross Start, please arrive for checkin between 4:45pm - 5:15pm

6pm - 10km Start, please arrive for checkin between 5pm - 5:45pm

7pm - 21km Start, please arrive for checkin between 6pm - 6:45pm

NOTE participants still running after 8pm must have a torch available to continue their event safely, NO torch, No Continuation on course

Refund policy

Below is our standard refund policy. This first paragraph is most important. If you don't want to accept our refund policy below, its best you don't enter the event. That way if you cant make it you wont be upset by the no refund close to the e ent date. We have already started to incur non refundable costs, so we ask you to acknowledge and accept the below, regardless of circumstances, or just don't enter. When asked about refunds and transfers we will politely direct you toward the policy that you acknowledge and agree too. We don't wont to offend, we just ask that you understand the conditions of entry. Refunds are available up to 30 days before race day, your refund will be transferred to your credit card, less a 50% Admin Fee. Within 30 days of event day there are no refunds. Please understand considerable cost is spent leading up to events, preventing full refunds. Don't ask for refunds outside the terms or conditions as refusal only offends and we don't want to offend you. We always recommend each individual if concerned about the possible need for a refund that they consider their own insurance to cover cancellation or inability to run in the event due to personal circumstances. Cancellation Due to the nature, location and weather conditions often present at trail running events, forces outside the control of the event organisers and land owners may force the event to be cancelled or postponed. Cancellation could be as late as the morning of the event or possibly during the event if conditions dictate such action. If the event is cancelled before the event the race organisers in some instances will work with the authorities to try and reschedule the event. If a date can not be suitably found the event will be deemed cancelled for that calendar year. NO REFUNDS will be issued for late cancellation or postponement of event. We always recommend each individual if concerned about the possible need for a refund that they consider their own insurance to cover cancellation or inability to run in the event due to personal circumstances.
