High School Homework Support (Term 2, 2026)

This free, weekly program supports homework completion, school learning, academic confidence, and positive study habits.

We’ll help you improve your focus and planning for study success. We’ll also help you build independent learning skills.

Please bring your own homework. We’ll provide a comfortable study space at Fawkner Neighbourhood House, and offer you help when you need it.

Snacks are provided : )

Note: This is a drop-in program. Students are free to arrive and leave at their convenience. (We understand some students will need to arrive late after travelling from school.) Please sign in on the sign-in sheet by the door when you arrive.

Our other free programs in Term 2:

• Connect+Explore: A series of small-group collaborative inquiry workshops for high schoolers (Years 7 – 12) on a series of Mondays in Term 2, 3:15pm–4:45pm, at Fawkner Neighbourhood House (79 Jukes Rd). • High School Study Skills Reboot: Students in Years 9–12 are invited to book in for a 30-minute individual chat for tailored study skills support at Fawkner Neighbourhood House, including guidance in managing their time and dealing with procrastination and stress. • Physics Masterclass for Years 11 & 12 students at Glenroy Library: A masterclass presented by an experienced Physics tutor, with structured support for understanding the topic of forces and motion, mapped to the VCE curriculum. Thursday 30 April, 3:30pm–5:00pm at Glenroy Library. Registration essential; register here.

• Primary Years Homework Club: Weekly sessions for students in Years 1 – 6, running throughout the year on a drop-in basis. In Term 2 these will run from 4pm – 5pm on Thursdays at Fawkner Neighbourhood House (79 Jukes Rd). Registration essential; register here.

Note:

• Fawkner Neighbourhood House is the orange brick building at the end of the drive that connects Fawkner Library, the Leisure Centre, and the skate park.
