REBOOT: For students in Years 9–12 — when studying feels like too much...

Book a free 45-minute one-to-one chat, and we'll share some simple, practical ways to help you take control.

Get help managing your time, getting unstuck, and dealing with procrastination without piling on more stress.

No judgment! Just one sympathetic conversation that can change how you feel, and help you stay focused.

You'll leave with a personal plan that fits you: what to do this week, how to stay on track, and how to stay motivated.

Reboot is delivered by our community educator Michelle Sowey. Michelle is warm, attentive, and great at helping students sort through what's going on.

A NOTE ABOUT THE FLEXIBLE START-TIME

Please arrive as soon as possible after you finish school. We will start when you arrive, whether that's 3:20pm, 3:30pm or 3:40pm. No matter what time you arrive, we will spend 30–45 minutes on your Study Skills Reboot session.

This service is co-located with Fawkner Neighbourhood House's High School Homework Support program — a free, weekly program supports homework completion, school learning, academic confidence, and positive study habits.

Our other free programs in Term 2:

• High School Homework Support: Weekly sessions for students in Years 7 – 12, running throughout the year on a drop-in basis. In Term 2 these will run from 3:15pm – 5:15pm on Wednesdays at Fawkner Neighbourhood House (79 Jukes Rd), and students are welcome to arrive and depart at their convenience (late arrival is fine). • Physics Masterclass for Years 11 & 12 students at Glenroy Library: A masterclass presented by an experienced Physics tutor, with structured support for understanding the topic of forces and motion, mapped to the VCE curriculum. • Connect+Explore: A series of small-group collaborative inquiry workshops for high schoolers (Years 7 – 12) on a series of Mondays in Term 2, 3:15pm–4:45pm, at Fawkner Neighbourhood House (FNH). These workshops are based on our program coordinator's previous work at The Philosophy Club. Registration essential; register here.

• Primary Years Homework Club: Weekly sessions for students in Years 1 – 6, running throughout the year on a drop-in basis. In Term 2 these will run from 4pm – 5pm on Thursdays at Fawkner Neighbourhood House (79 Jukes Rd). Registration essential; register here.

• Fawkner Neighbourhood House is the orange brick building at the end of the drive that connects Fawkner Library, the Leisure Centre, and the skate park.
