Holiday Pasta Making For Families
Event description
“My best Christmas memories are of my family gathering in the kitchen and making homemade pasta for Christmas Eve dinner,” says AtoZ chef Julia Cushing, just back from cooking and teaching her summer away in Umbria, Italy.
On January 14th, bring your family to the AtoZ kitchen for an evening of dough making, pasta shaping, and sauce creating with Chef Julia! Students will learn how to shape farfalle (butterfly), orecchiette (ear) and cavatelli (little hollows) and make the perfect sauces for each. Families will also make a seasonal salad and share house-made sweets for dessert.
Meal will be enjoyed in the kitchen. Students take home recipes so they can make pasta dishes – and memories - with family and friends during the holidays.
Please wear close-toed shoes, as we will be in a commercial kitchen.
Children 10 and older are welcome. Must be accompanied by an adult.
