HomeBody is a 5 part movement series endeavouring to carve out a journey into agency, through mindful movement. Drawing on the theme of our own inner home; seeking to deconstruct than rebuild connections, offering opportunity to re-write the stories in our bodies. Find strength, ease, space, creativity ~maybe even joy~ right here, in our flesh. Held by the container of a considered and supportive community. Each session incorporates a flow through guided exercises, improvisation, and partner work, bookended by grounding and reflective practices.
Part one - The Journey Back Home this practise will aim to establish a safer space for us to keep returning as we start to expand to heat.
Part two - Our inner spring clean, Making Space within creating room for new invited intentions.
Part three - Lay the Foundations, finding the weight and earth in our body, exploring our internal structures and mechanisms.
Part four - Finding our Flair, we seek and reveal the beauty of the uniqueness of each home.
Part five - Welcoming in others to witness and join together in a HomeWarming
The practise is open to small group of 8-10 to help allow everyone the time and space they deserve.
