Home for the Holidays: Southern California's Winter Wonderland
Event description
To many, Southern California may be the polar opposite of a winter wonderland, but we don’t have to go very far to get into the festive spirit! Home is truly where the heart is and season's tidings are all around us, if you know where to look. So hop on the TPF express without leaving the house.
Whether spiked hot cocoa or eggnog, grab your favorite drink and join us for a fireside chat with a native plant spin, as we explore the ephemera that we associate with the holidays. From the flora of montane coniferous forests to the origin of Hollywood’s name, you will hear stories of the flora who make our holidays merry and bright.
This class will be held online and recorded. Zoom login instructions will be included in the reminder emails. Registered students will have access to a recording of the class for 2 weeks after the live event.
