How to Change Your Self-Talk
This workshop is based on one of the stand-alone modules in our popular UNFCK Yourself and Find U program.
You do not need to complete the program to get massive benefit from this workshop.
Self-talk can be like a collection of characters at an Open Mic night!
There’s the ranter, the sulker, the activist, the heckler, the trailblazer, and the pity party event manager.
Some seem loud, some seem sinister, some just lurk like the silence in a horror movie. Some clap loudly, some tell me I’m awesome, others just laugh and make me feel stupid.
So, what is self-talk really? It’s the internal chatter made up of your day-to-day thoughts and internal beliefs.
You know the chatter. That little voice in your head that narrates everything in life and like many of us, that voice can become particularly nasty, especially when we make a mistake or feel like we're being judged.
In this bitesize workshop, you'll learn what actually drives self-talk, why it can be so nasty and most importantly, how to change it!
