    Event description

Through a theatrical performance, learn how to prepare and cook a popular Colombian cuisine, the Arepa.

Arepa is a type of gluten-free “pancake”, served alone or with a filling (of cheese/meats/vegetarian).

Cooking as a family, my mother, daughter and I will teach you about the Arepa, —The three generations— sharing the message of healthy food. This Latin-led cooking class will be easy, playful, musical and fun - Milena

Milena Suárez is an actress, dancer and businesswoman. By mixing theatre with dance, she creates the perfect environment to capture the attention and connect with children and adults alike. Milena is passionate about cooking traditional Colombian food, and the wise customs of the ancestors. In many Latin households the skill of cooking the Arepa is taught from generation to generation. This workshop will be a fun experience, sharing love and knowledge of the nutritious foods of Colombia.

This workshop culminates in a shared meal (from 12.30pm -1.00pm). Please advise of dietary requirements at checkout. Please note that some dietary requirements may not be able to be met due to the nature of this cuisine. Get in touch with us if you have any concerns or queries.
