This training course has been developed for Department and council users.
This training course provides an overview of the planning proposal workflow. The course explains how Deaprtment and council users log in to the system and locate a planning proposal to begin the process.
The training covers the pre‑exhibition stage, including uploading and publishing documents on the NSW Planning Portal and creating referrals to agencies. It also explains how to prepare for public exhibition by setting start and end dates, adding newspaper details where required, and managing the publication or unpublication of documents.
The course then outlines activities during and after the exhibition period. This includes viewing the exhibition, using available actions such as updating dates and risk assessments, managing documents, completing post‑exhibition reporting, and finalising the planning proposal once approved.
