How to review and lodge or return a development application

This course provides council users with an overview of how to review a development application submitted through the NSW Planning Portal and either lodge the application or return it to the applicant.

The course will cover how to:

• locate applications in the council work basket

• review application details and documentation

• request additional information

• complete the completeness check and record the outcome

The session will focus on the key steps council staff must complete before an application is formally lodged for assessment.
