Event description
Join us for an insightful workshop that continues our Qualitative Data Analysis series for 2025! This session will focus on Inductive Content Analysis (ICA), a qualitative data analysis method particularly suited for applied research.
We will be joined by guest A/Prof Danya Vears, Deakin University, Waurn Ponds. Danya will demystify ICA, explaining its application in health-related research projects where the intended outcomes are practical in nature. We'll explore the distinctions between ICA, deductive content analysis, and thematic analysis, providing clear guidance on when and how to use ICA effectively.
Learning Outcomes
- Understand the fundamentals of Inductive Content Analysis (ICA)
- Differentiate ICA from other qualitative analysis methods
- Apply ICA techniques to your own research projects
