Introduction to Dry Points - Sat 26th April
Event description
In this three-hour workshop you will learn the fundamental skills needed to create an intaglio print through dry point. Learn how to use etching tools safely while understanding the varied techniques of dry point etching, from scratching a design into your plate, how to prepare your paper, inking, wiping, and how to use a printing press. Whether you are a beginner or looking to brush up on your printmaking skills, this class offers one-to-one tuition in a small group setting.
You will be guided along the way with expert advice by Cecilia Jacobs, a visual artist specialising in printmaking.
