Event description
Introduction to using Cloud-based software (Cloud-based software)
This post-beginners digital literacy program takes you beyond the basics of Microsoft Office to introduce a variety of applications commonly used in office settings and how they are used to work more effectively in a team environment. Â
This program will introduce learners to the Google Suite, including Calendar, Docs, Forms, and Sheets.Â
Learners will also learn how to manipulate PDFs using free online software I Love PDF (an alternative to Adobe), and the basics of desktop publishing using Canva.
Finally, students will be introduced to online whiteboarding using Lucidspark.
Note: learners will need to be confident searching the internet and be able to use either Microsoft Word or Google Docs before enrolling in this course.
Learners interested in learning computer basics are encouraged to instead enrol in Smartphones and Computers - Next Steps.
