This session focuses on the Wet-on-Wet watercolor technique where wet paint is applied to a moist surface, allowing pigments to blend seamlessly. This method creates soft edges, smooth transitions, and organic textures as the paint flows freely. It's perfect for capturing the fluidity of skies, water, or atmospheric effects. Controlling water and pigment flow is key to maintaining balance between spontaneity and intention. Wet-on-wet emphasises movement and harmony, producing vibrant, ethereal results that feel natural and dreamlike in appearance.

We apply the wet on wet technique to basic geometrical shapes, simple objects and basic backgrounds.
