Invasive Grass ID and Removal in Wodonga
Event description
Help us protect our precious native grasslands by learning how to identify African love grass and other garden escapees as well as the various techniques to control these new and emerging grass weed species.
Please note: the walk from the parking area to Kent McKoy Reserve is quite steep.
When: 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
Where: Park on the northern side of Huon Creek road near the playground at David Bayne Park and the small footbridge. See map below.
What is supplied: All tools and any specific safety equipment needed.
What to bring: BYO drinking water. For your safety, please wear covered shoes (preferably boots), long pants, long sleeves, and a hat.
