Invasive Grass ID and Removal at Baranduda
Event description
Help us protect our precious native grasslands by learning how to identify whiskey grass and African love grass as well as the various techniques to control these new and emerging grass weed species.
These highly competitive exotic grasses form dense, flammable stands and are nearly unpalatable for livestock.
We will walk along the High Country Rail Trail, building our grass ID skills along the way, then chip out and bag these invasive weeds.
