Dr. Jake M. Robinson is a microbial ecologist at Flinders University, and is dedicated to protecting and restoring nature, while also supporting the well-being of both people and the planet. 

Microbes are the unseen engineers of ecosystems, driving critical processes like nutrient cycling, soil formation, and plant health. This talk explores how understanding and leveraging microbial communities plays a pivotal role in ecosystem restoration. Discover the transformative potential of microbial ecology in restoring resilient, functional ecosystems.

Dr. Robinson's is the author of Invisible Friends, exploring the important role of microbes in our lives and the environment and Treewilding, a journey through the history of the relationship between humans and trees. 
He is the co-host of the Interconnected Podcast, exploring the intricate links between life’s most profound, weird and wonderful things.
