Jungwoong Kim: Demon, Ajar
Event description
Demon, Ajar | 디몬, 조금 열린 문
안무, 출연: 김정웅 (Jungwoong Kim)
This work is deeply personal — a reflection of the sadness and isolation I experienced during the pandemic, as well as the disruption within my family life. It also channels a profound transformation that emerged through that time.
During that pivotal period, I faced challenges that compelled me to slow down and listen deeply to my body, my memories, and my inner voice. Drawing on aesthetic qualities rooted in Korean myth and shamanic traditions, I reflect on how we face disruption, fragility, and the unknown. The performance is a quiet, improvised unfolding of my emotional journey — an offering of presence, vulnerability, and self-revelation in an intimate space.
