Kane Calcite - Harmonic Motion EP Launch
with special guests
Cassy Rae & Rhys Scoular

Saturday 24th August 2024 - 6pm
The Servo, Port Kembla.

To celebrate the launch of Kane Calcite’s Harmonic Motion EP, Calcite Records and The Servo  bring you a night of smooth and melodic acoustic sounds.

Harmonic motion is the second EP offering for 2024 from Kane following his debut EP Edible  FairyTales in February. From catchy tunes like Astronaut to Harmonic Motion, Kane takes listeners  on a journey into his world with raw lyrics while at the same time will have you dancing.

Kane has invited special guests and good friends Rhys Scoular and Cassy Rae to join him on stage.  With his solo set, Rhys brings his own signature story telling style to life through his country tunes.  Cassy Rae is female vocalist and multi instrumentalist with a sweet and quirky sound.

Kane Calcite is a singer songwriter based in Wollongong. With his smooth earthy sounds fused  seamless with acoustic melodies, Kane’s music embodies the emotive and authentic essence of story  telling.
Drawing inspiration from his innate love of nature and the power of human connection,  Kane breathes life into tales of love and life’s struggle that carry the weight of his emotions and  vulnerability.

A popular fixture, Kane’s wholesome authenticity has solidified his reputation on the local music  scene which has seen him play alongside Thirsty Merc, Ash Grunwald, 19-Twenty, The McCredie  Brothers, Salt Tree and at festivals with the likes of Matt Corby, The Cat Empire, The Dreggs, Steph  Strings, Pacific Avenue and The Terrys.

His journey from his early years on the local punk rock scene to the energetic frontman of Calcite has seen Kane foster his own distinctive sound as a solo artist.
