Kids' Cookie Decorating Workshop | July 2025

Add a sprinkle of winter magic to the school holidays at The Grounds! In this fun and frosty workshop, kids will get creative decorating four cookies with buttercream icing, lollies and other delicious toppings.

This experience is recommended for children aged 5–12 years, with one adult welcome to join and assist each child during the session. Please be aware that our cookies contain allergens and are prepared in a kitchen that handles nuts, shellfish, gluten, and eggs. Our cookies contain gluten.

What's to Expect?

• Four cookies, pre-baked and ready for decorating.

• A mix of icing, lollies and other toppings inspired by the winter season.

• Guidance from our friendly team to help bring their beautiful creations to life.

• Beautiful packaging to take their cookies home and share!

Please note that bookings are essential and places will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis, so please act quickly to make sure you don't miss out.

Important Information

• Please only buy the tickets you need so more children can join the fun!

• This experience is suitable for kids aged 5-12 years. We know every child is different, so use your best judgement to decide if this activity is right for your little one.

• Tickets are only required for participating children; supervising adults accompanying their child do not need a ticket.

• This isn't a drop-off service and parents must stay within The Grounds of Alexandria while your child is participating in this workshop.

• Cookie decorations may vary slightly on the day, but there’ll be plenty of delicious toppings to choose from.

• Can't make it? Refunds are available up to 72 hours before the event.

• Refunds cover the face value of the ticket but not booking fees, as these are charged by Humanitix. For details, check out their website.

• Please aim to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your session, and check in with our staff in The Atrium. Parking and transport in the area can be challenging.

• Rain or shine, this event is happening indoors, so don't worry about the weather!

• Food and drinks are available from The Cafe, The Garden, and The Potting Shed. If you'd like to skip the wait, we recommend making a reservation online ahead of time.
