Kids' Soft Playground | Spring 2025

Bring the little ones to The Grounds of Alexandria these school holidays for loads of fun in our new soft play zone, designed especially for kids aged 5 years and under. With a ball pit to bounce through, a spinning wheel full of giggles, soft bridges to cross, and big blocks to build with, it’s the perfect place for tiny adventurers to play and explore.

This experience is exclusively for children aged 5 years and under, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (aged 18+ years) at all times. For kids aged 6+ years, consider our Inflatable Playground in Linseed House (view here).

What to Expect?

• Splash into the colourful ball pit.

• Climb the bridges and other obstacles.

• Stack, build, and topple the big soft blocks.

• Explore a safe, fun space made for young children.

Please note that bookings are essential and places will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis, so please act quickly to make sure you don't miss out.

Important Information

• Please only buy the tickets you need so more families can join the fun!

• This experience is suitable for kids aged 5 years and under. We know every child is different, so use your best judgement to decide if this activity is right for your little one.

• All participants must have a purchased ticket and signed waiver before entry. Tickets are only required for children; supervising adults do not need a ticket.

• No shoes are to be worn in the Soft Playground, but socks are a must! No socks, no play. We don't provide or sell socks onsite, so please come prepared.

• This isn't a drop-off service and parents must stay within The Grounds of Alexandria while your child is playing. Please note that children 5 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult (18+ years) at all times.

• Can't make it? Refunds are available up to 72 hours before the event.

• Refunds cover the face value of the ticket but not booking fees, as these are charged by Humanitix. For details, check out their website.

• Please aim to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your session, and check in with our staff in The Atrium. Parking and transport in the area can be challenging.

• Rain or shine, this event is happening indoors, so don't worry about the weather!

• Takeaway food and drinks are available through The Grounds App while you wait, and you can also enjoy dine-in options at The Cafe, The Garden, and The Potting Shed. For a smooth experience, consider making a reservation online before you visit.
