  • Want to be in the proximity of like minded Kingdom Entrepreneurs - as iron sharpens iron?

Mike Pond is a faith-driven entrepreneur, Olympic canoe coach, and 35-year veteran of the pet food industry. Guided by a deep commitment to integrity, stewardship, and service, Mike founded and grew Prime100 into one of Australia’s leading veterinary-recommended pet food companies. Under his leadership, the business became the nation’s second-largest sale of pet food company

Mike sold a majority stake in Prime100 to Quadrant Private Equity at a valuation exceeding $100 million and later exited the business at a $500 million valuation. His approach rooted in discipline, innovation, and a servant leadership mindset delivered transformational growth across product, manufacturing, and retail.

Earlier in life, Mike coached elite paddlers to the Olympic level, applying the same principles of focus, resilience, and faith that would later underpin his business journey. Today, he mentors and invests in a new generation of pet food entrepreneurs, while also dedicating time to ministry, philanthropy, and kingdom-focused initiatives.

Through the MAP Foundation and Canu32, Mike is committed to building ventures that honour God, elevate others, and create long-term impact across sport, business, and community.

Michael Pond was the WAIS and Olympic Coach and National Sprint Team representative from 1989 – 1991.

Mike won National K2 and K4 titles with former World Champion Martin Hunter.

Mike was assistant coach under Ramon Andersson from 2006 – 2016, working with the 8 Olympians WA produced over that time as well as numerous other National junior and senior team representatives.

  • Coached and assisted in the preparation of 8 Olympic athletes over 6 Olympic cycles, including the 2012 London Olympic team.

  • Member of the 2012 London Olympic team as a coach.

  • Australian National champion and multiple times member of National team kayak athlete in his twenties

Mike is a highly accomplished entrepreneur with extensive experience in business and sports coaching.

A presentation not to be missed.

We will then have plenty of opportunities to network with fellow Kingdom Entrepreneurs.
