A warm invitation to join Geeti & Gyan from Sydney's popular kirtan group Sound Samadhi, together with special guest, the internationally renowned classical Indian singer and teacher Sudhanshu Sharma, for a special afternoon of kirtan music at Penrith Baptist Church.

This will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the beauty of the heart, singing yogic mantras together to uplift our individual and collective vibration in common-unity.

Tickets $25 - we recommend to book online in advance to secure your place. 

Do reach out to us if this is not affordable for you due to challenging financial circumstances - we do not wish insufficient funds be a reason not to come!

The program will comprise an opening meditation and presentation plus group call and response kirtans led by Geeti & Gyan and Sudhanshu.

Geeti & Gyan are a Sydney-based kirtan and conscious music duo who bring a joyful presence to their innovative fusion of mantra, heart song, meditation, yoga and sound healing to celebrate the beauty of the heart.

Their original East-meets-West conscious music fuses contemporary and traditional kirtan and mantra with uplifting English lyrics, and features vocals, guitar, harmonium, sitar, cajon, manjira and flute.

They also incorporate celestial and grounding instruments into their opening meditations and closing sound baths, such as Alchemy crystal bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, hand pan, shamanic drum, ocean drum, rainstick, sansula and chimes.

Geeti & Gyan are both kirtanists, accredited sound healers and naada yoga teachers. 

Gyan is also an accredited hatha yoga and meditation teacher and singer-songwriter, and Geeti a Soul Motion conscious dance and Kiryuho movement facilitator.

Sudhanshu Sharma is an internationally respected Indian Classical Musician and Vocal Teacher, whose singing and facilitation invites participants on a journey into the heart and soul of music. 

Born into a family of music lovers and enthusiasts who recognised his remarkable vocal talents, Sudhanshu Sharma took to music early in life.

Sudhanshu was initiated into music by Guru Shri Lakheshwar Choudhary from Assam. He received Gold Medal honours for his Post-Graduate degree in Music at the University of Delhi.

Later he moved to New Delhi for rigorous training under Pandit Baldev Raj Verma, the leading disciple of Pandit Amarnath, and one of the torch-bearers of the Indore Style of singing popularised by the legendary Ustad Amir Khan Saheb.

His raga recitals are remarkably blissful and serene. His singing style reflects both the Indore Gharana tradition, and his own unique imaginative soulful expression.

Sudhanshu has shared his music around the globe and is a senior teacher for the acclaimed Heart of Sound Naada Yoga training courses in Rishikesh, India. 

This will be Sudhanshu’s second visit to Australia to share his music and workshops.
