Event description

Artist Steven Erdman shares his roller-coaster journey through art, animation, design, music, and performance. He’ll discuss the creation of his surreal alter ego, The Human Lard Dog from the planet Belopio, who followed bebop notes to West Philadelphia and built the alternate universe known as The Yamatorium. This talk ties into LARD ROAD, a 40-year retrospective of Erdman’s work currently on exhibit at Studio 34. Come by on August 22 at 7:30 pm for an evening of stories, song, and spirited frivolity—plus sprouts and hummus.
