Event description

Join Roads Australia on Tuesday 7th October 2025 for our Melbourne Leaders’ Lunch, featuring Stuart Moseley, Deputy Secretary - Housing, Building and Land Delivery, Department of Transport and Planning as part of Roads Australia’s Productivity Series.

These lunches are complimentary for RA members to attend and are an opportunity for an open discussion with senior industry leaders. Registration is no guarantee of a place, and we will advise in due course if your expression of interest is successful.

Stuart Moseley | Deputy Secretary - Housing, Building and Land Delivery | Department of Transport and Planning

Stuart leads the Victorian Government’s programs for unlocking land for development of housing, jobs and infrastructure and reforming the building system.

He has more than 30 years’ experience in planning, urban management and project delivery in the public and private sectors and has worked in senior roles across five Australian states and territories.

Stuart’s former roles include chief planner for the Queensland Government, Chief Executive of the Victorian Planning Authority and Chief Executive of the Adelaide City Council.

He has also served as National Vice-President of the Urban Development Institute of Australia, member of the South Australian Planning Commission and member of the Australian Building Codes Board.
