Event description
Beginner's course providing students with introductory skills in Australian Sign Language, Auslan. The ability to communicate with people who are Deaf and or hard with hearing can be helpful in teaching, child care, community welfare, public service and health positions in our community.
Come along to 6 weeks' worth of sessions detailing fingerspelling, deaf conventions of conversation, foods, greetings, feelings, deaf awareness, family and everyday vocabulary. Resources will be shared to continue passionate community engagement and learning of this beautiful and useful language.
