Liminal 3 Adult ADHD Event Wellington
Description
Liminal: Living Well with Adult ADHD
An evening of ideas, reflection, and practical tools for adults with ADHD.
This is about understanding how your ADHD actually works, your rhythms, your patterns, your experience; and finding small, realistic ways forward.
This isn’t about fixing yourself. It’s about working with how you’re wired.
You’ll leave with:
fresh insight into your own patterns
practical, ADHD-friendly strategies that feel doable
a simple, personal next step
and connection with others in a relaxed, encouraging space
What we’ll explore
ADHD: a brief history, the lived experience, the challenges… and some hope
Emotional regulation: often one of the hardest (and most overlooked) parts
Executive functioning: time blindness, planning, hyperfocus, and body doubling
Dopamine: energy and motivation (or the lack of it)
Tiny Habits® a simple, practical way to begin change
Who is this for?
This workshop is best suited to adults (16+) who already have some understanding of ADHD — whether diagnosed, self-identified, exploring or supporting someone in your whanau. However, anyone is welcome.
