This session explores how communities can strengthen their ability to manage important assets such as land, buildings, businesses, housing, infrastructure, natural assets and community facilities.

When communities have the capability to manage assets effectively, they can maintain and grow value, generate income, reduce risks, respond to changing needs, and ensure benefits continue to flow to future generations. Effective management helps communities move beyond ownership alone and maximise the impact of the assets they control.

Rather than going deep into technical detail, this session focuses on building practical awareness, shared understanding and useful starting points.

Communities learn practical approaches to managing assets and resources effectively; enablers learn how to design support systems, frameworks and partnerships that strengthen long-term community stewardship and success.

Session Delivery
