Meet the Maker: Leo Steen Wine Dinner

Join us for an evening of gourmet food, exceptional wines and great company! We are delighted to host winemaker Leo Hanson of Leo Steen Wines on Thursday, April 3rd!

We'll enjoy an elegant five-course dinner and five Leo Steen wine pairings while learning about Leo's approach to winemaking and the unique characteristics his wines.

Meet Leo Hanson:
Leo Hanson has worked to hone in his craft, always with an eye towards that place where style and vineyard authenticity naturally meet. His classically trained European palate is a part of that equation. So is his appreciation for the charm and character of great California winemaking. As a result, he has developed a gentle approach that focuses more on natural yeasts, lower alcohols and less new oak. The winemaker in him thinks about the organic, biodynamic and sustainable vineyards and feels privileged to work with in Sonoma, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz and Mendocino, and what he loves about them. While his sommelier side reminds him that great wine finds its most elegant expression served alongside good food in the company of family and friends. He only hopes you find both sides of this philosophy realized in his wines.
