ABOUT THIS EVENT

Join our Social Walks leader Adam for a spectacular SUNSET walk with beautiful coastline views along wonderful Hampton Beach and Brighton Beach towards the Sandringham Yacht Club before heading back see the world famous Brighton Beach Bathing Boxes!

This evening stroll to watch the sun go down over Melbourne City is the PERFECT way to end your Thursday with the Social Walks Crew.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Bayside Bay Trail is a fantastic walk for all fitness levels and the PERFECT way to farewell the day while hanging with some cool people. 

This trail is roughly a 7km return trail that spans a beautiful section of the Port Phillip Bay coastline.

We will aim to finish the walk around 9:00-9.15pm Where we will head to the Brighton Beach Hotel for a celebratory drink afterwards.

All ages and fitness levels are welcome to this event. 

START TIME AND MEET LOCATION

MEETING LOCATION: Brighton Beach Station Carpark (1 Esplanade, Brighton VIC 3186)

MEETING TIME: Arrive 6.50pm for a 7:00pm SHARP departure to catch the sunset. 

NOTE: Arriving on time is critical to the Walk getting away on time. Participants not checked-in by 6.50pm may be left behind. 

PARKING: There is free parking at the meeting location. Alternative parking can be found across Beach Rd

WHAT TO BRING

- Water (at least 1-2L)

- Snack food for the walk

- Money a drink afterwards

WHAT TO WEAR

- Comfortable Walking Shoes

- Comfortable Weather Suitable Clothing (check weather on the day). 

- Hat / Beanie

FINISH

The Hike should take around 2 hours with small breaks to enjoy some sightseeing and to take photos.

The walk starts and finishes in the same location.
