CERES Environmental Park - Cnr Stewart St & Roberts St, Brunswick East

The team at CERES, who are generously supported by Merri-bek City Council, are excited to host a Professional Development day for Term 1, 2023!

Teachers within Merri-bek City Council are invited to attend.

The theme for the event will be Environment & Sustainability, and using indigenous perspectives and processes to support and teach those within the curriculum.

The event provides a great opportunity for networking, and will include an Outdoor Classroom Workshop, as well as an indigenous perspective presentation from Uncle Bill Nicholson.

Uncle Bill Nicholson is a Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung educator, who will be sharing his passion and extensive cultural knowledge to help you feel confident to teach Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in your upcoming sustainability topics.

Nibbles and tea and coffee will be provided.

This event is strictly limited to 20 participants.

Registrations close 5pm on Friday 10th March 2023.

If you have any questions, please contact us at teacherprograms@ceres.org.au.

*Please note we are able to have Uncle Bill present to an exclusive number of participants, and for this reason we will be charging a small fee to cover the cost of accessing Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people's cultural perspectives. We will only be inviting teachers of Merri-bek City Council and there will be an active waiting list for this event. If you are no longer able to attended please request a refund from Humantix by 5pm on Friday 10th March 2023 so we are able to offer this place to others.
