Community gets first look: Come along and see Josh Muir's powerful exhibition JXSH MVIR: Forever I Live before it opens to the public. This is what MFMF is all about - giving First Nations Community access to experience each exhibition first.
Mob First Mob Fed is open to all Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Peoples and their carers/guardians/parents/family.
About the Exhibition:
Josh Muir's JXSH MVIR: Forever I Live is a significant new body of contemporary First Nations work. Through MFMF, Community gets a first look, guided discussion, and the chance to experience this important art together with Community.
Special guests:
Robert K Champion - Gubrun, Kokatha and Mirning guitarist and storyteller providing story and melodic/country/rock infused sounds.
Eugenia Flynn - Aboriginal (Tiwi and Larrakia), Chinese Malaysian and Muslim writer, researcher and specialist in First Nations cultural practice who'll contribute to the exhibition preview. Eugenia's insights will deepen our understanding of Josh Muir's work while maintaining the community-centred focus of MFMF.
